Max and Jack's Christmas Day

On a snowy Christmas Eve, little bunny Max and his dad, Jack, decorate the tree and bake chocolate cookies in their cozy hillside cottage. Max falls asleep to "The Night Before Christmas," dreaming of the Carrot-bot toy he's hoping for.

On Christmas morning he races to unwrap his presents, but Carrot-bot isn't among them, and his face falls. Over a Christmas dinner of carrot salad and mashed potatoes, Jack tells Max about his own childhood, when his family had little money but treasured their time together with walks and games.

Max starts to feel thankful for what he has, and happily agrees to a walk in the sparkling snow. Out there, Jack reads Max a loving poem and surprises him with a Carrot-bot he built himself from twigs and carrots.

Max is overjoyed, and father and son spend the rest of the day playing and laughing. It turns out the best gift is love and time together.
